Make-A-Wish / Donations
Paulie would be thrilled. He did not get his wish to boogie board in Puerto Rico, but in our first year of swimming in his memory we raised $7,000. That donation to Make-A-Wish Foundation ® of Metro New York made it possible for one child to live their dream!
The Long Beach Polar Bear Club has become enormously popular and successful in a very short time. In subsequent years we raised and donated:

Our goal for this, OUR 13TH YEAR? To grant as many wishes as possible!
Every cent we collect in memory of Paulie and P.J. goes directly to the Make a Wish Foundation. We are all volunteers inspired by a common goal: to share laughs and shivers with a loving community, and in the process help make a child’s dream come true.
There are, of course, alternatives to an icy dip to support
Make a Wish.
